JoyGames has launched the newest part of joygames one piece

Although some fans are unhappy with how one piece game went about in its first two seasons, given that  joygames one piece has veered away from its manga version, the show will be having a third season slated for release this year. People looking for a more traditional turn-based combat, look elsewhere.

You don't need to be a SAO buff to understand the story, but it helps. Lost Song is successor to one piece game. One of the annoying things about the story though, was the cutscenes when they weren't screenshots was the lip syncing. The combat is action oriented, more in tune with a hack and slash game. It isn't all that memorable, but we won't go into much detail so as not to ruin it for the hardcore SAO fans out there. Playing an RPG that is set in a world in a VRMMORPG Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game may sound confusing, but don't worry; one piece game is an enjoyable ride, and should appeal most to fans of the manga/anime, but people who are new to the franchise might be able to extract some enjoyment from it. It was also a shame that some of the cutscenes were done using the game engine because it doesn't seem to be taking full advantage of current gen consoles and while the environments looked nice it could have looked much better. Sometimes it was glaringly obvious that the game was dubbed over and the voice acting suffered too when it seemed that the actors were told to stop a sentence to match the lips of the character model but it made the sentence sound ridiculous.
For normal enemies it's mainly just hacking away at them. Having two colossal beasts fighting each other and pulling off huge explosive moves was quite satisfying. Then there is combat whilst you're flying/hovering, it's a nice addition and the game puts a heavy focus on combat whilst hovering for some of bosses throughout the main story.
